Wee Folk Farm is a daycare where children can feel safe, nurtured, loved and free to explore the world at their own pace. 

This is a nature based program-our hope is that we can reunite children with nature and help them understand that the earth and the natural world should be valued and protected.

This program is  purposely gentle and  peaceful... Life for little children can be sometimes over-stimulating...this is a place for imagination and creativity to emerge.

I live on a small farm  wonderful gardens, some gentle animals, a nature (Fairy) path, and  a large play yard. 

Activities include:

-artistic activities such as:

painting, drawing, beeswax modeling and creating crafts that mirror the seasons.

-practical skills, daily rituals and routines such as:

Baking bread, making soups, helping setting the table, singing ,and finger plays. At least once a day a story is told or puppet show performed. 

....and most importantly

Play!!

 My name is Heidi Pelletier, I have three children of my own ages 27, 14 and 10. The past 13 years I have been a Birth Doula (labor support person) and Postpartum Doula (helping moms adjust after the birth of their children). I have worked with young children ranging from 18months to five at a wonderful childcare facility in Rhode Island. This experience brings me to the present decision to open up my own daycare here in Acushnet, where I can share this wonderful place with little ones.
